Our mission is to foster activities and connections that support and promote this new understanding of Cosmic Order (Rta) through personal spiritual experience and connection with India, but also by articulating how it works more technically in natural and human systems. That technical translation for professions is in terms of holon theory (cyclical causality), which interprets cosmic order as relational complexity that is fundamental to all systems and congruent with the ancient wisdom of the Vedas. Our mission thus includes but also transcends academic boundaries, inviting each individual to participate in a personal as well as conceptual transformation of understanding as we together seek practical ways to benefit humanity.
The many thousands of devotional and contemplative sites in India are not just architectural marvels, but portals to profoundly transformative experiences. Nexial has close connections to many facilities through the founders [1] and as a result can sponsor activities at appropriate locations. Much of this activity is small, of the nature of workshops and individual travel to important conferences, or academic and cultural exchanges between places and institutions. Spiritual activities are limited primarily to one-on-one or small group encounters. The aim of the technical program is generally to deploy results as soon as possible in major institutions, to transform them and their impacts for the better. While we must scale our activities to the level of donor funding, new projects may vary in scope or may require specific funding for proof-of-concept, and from time to time we may organize various kinds of funding campaigns or seek grants where that is feasible. Large or small, the Institute is focused on planting seeds that we hope will grow on their own and become self-sustaining in precisely the way that Rta and cyclical causality define intrinsically sustainable systems and human wellbeing Accordingly, we also hope to plant personal seeds by expanding private retreat and Satsang opportunities, recognizing that both inner and outer transformations are needed.
